The Wake Forest Demon Deacons needed to address their wide receiver position after losing their top four receivers either to the 2025 NFL Draft or the transfer portal. Most of the receivers they added in the portal are inexperienced and haven’t received ample playing time in college. Reginald Vick Jr. currently leads the team in career receiving yards with 1,394 after breaking out in 2024 with Virginia Union, a Division 2 HBCU.
Because of this, the Demon Deacons could add a receiver in the spring portal.
