Breaking: Vikings’ Legendary RB Adrian Peterson Currently Wanted By Police (Report)

The Minnesota Vikings have seen one of their legendary players go through some personal trouble since he retired.  Former running back Adrian Peterson is widely regarded as one of the best running backs to ever play the game.  He broke an incredible amount of records and changed the position as we know it.

Today, however, he has a warrant issued for his arrest.

Fort Bend County, Texas, authorities have issued warrants in Peterson’s name:

According to USA Today, the warrants are out as a result of the former NFL MVP failing to appear in court for two separate child support cases.

“The current legal case is related to a misunderstanding regarding Adrian’s court appearances as it relates to child support, and he is actively working with his legal team to resolve this matter as quickly as possible,” Peterson’s publicist Denise White told the publication.

“He is committed to clearing up this situation and moving forward positively.”

From 2007 to 2021, Peterson earned over $100 million playing football. However, he has been dealing with debt issues since retiring. He owed DeAngelo Vehicle Sales LLC $8.3 million over a three-year period, but according to court records, he had not made any payments.
