The Vanderbilt Commodores pulled off one of the biggest upsets in college football in recent memory on Saturday against the Alabama Crimson Tide. Vanderbilt won the game over Alabama 40-35.
The Crimson Tide were ranked number one in the country for this game and dropped to seventh in the AP Poll after the loss. The Commodores got some Top 25 votes this week, but they failed to make it after the win against Alabama.
Vanderbilt Commodores Fans React To Memorabilia Auctioning After the Massive Win Against the Alabama Crimson Tide
There is a memorabilia auction for some items during Vanderbilt’s upset win over Alabama. Some of the things that were auctioned off were the goalposts, the game ball, the game helmet, and much more. This is something special for the fans in Nashville, Tennessee. Here is what the fans had to say about this:
What happened to that team in Tuscaloosa ?

@HoosiersConnect, you may want to squirrel away this idea for later on. NIL should be creative. pic.twitter.com/zk0RUGm962

Gotta pay that fine to Bama somehow

Great win, but there’s no reason a SEC school should be doing this when they beat another SEC opponent.

Shockingly, this was done because of the history that was made on Saturday. This could be the biggest upset in college football since Michigan lost to Appalachian State.
Vanderbilt Faces the Kentucky Wildcats Next Week
Next week, the Commodores will face the Kentucky Wildcats on the road. Both teams are 3-2 on the year. Wouldn’t it be something if Kentucky beat Vanderbilt after the Commodores upset the Alabama Crimson Tide? However, if Vanderbilt wins, they may need to be discussed into being a Top 25 team in the nation.
A lot will ride on this week. This is a memory that the Commodores football team and the fanbase will have forever. It is time for them to move on and focus on the future.
