On Tuesday, USA Today revealed their NFL record predictions, and they really put the Browns at the bottom of the AFC North. They have them going 6-11, and that doesn’t sound right.

Is USA Today Really That Far Off?
The Browns have a lot of great young talent. But, they also have a bigger problem than any other team in the league.
Most of the Browns’ season will depend on the Deshaun Watson ruling. As we know, he was accused of sexual assault and misconduct by several women, and a disciplinary hearing by the NFL is taking place. Many are waiting for a decision by judge Sue Robinson, but it doesn’t seem like she’s too urgent to make a decision. After all, we’ve been waiting on a decision since the end of June.
But, USA Today did have some valid concerns. One of their biggest concerns was obviously Watson, but Jacoby Brissett can be a problem. With Baker Mayfield gone, this puts Brissett as the starter if Watson is suspended. And Brissett’s record as a starter isn’t very good, sitting at 14-23.
The prediction they gave is kind of reasonable, but they should have a better season than that.
Are There Any Other Surprises on Their List?
Some people have commented on the Lions being in second place in the NFC North, along with the Cardinals only getting seven wins.
But as many people have pointed out, they have the Denver Broncos finishing last in the AFC West.

The Broncos should be a solid team this year, but USA Today doesn’t think so.
The Browns only getting to six wins is definitely a surprise, though. They do have some valid concerns with their quarterback situation, but they shouldn’t be that bad. Cleveland’s season could go south, but they should still perform well.
