Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins wide receiver, might definitely have CTE or Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy according to former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, Antonio Brown. Brown has managed to create plenty of awareness for CTE which is very common among footballers. The sport brings plenty of traumas to the head, which can cause this condition.

Brown not only speaks publicly about CTE to increase awareness but also has a clothing line targeting this. In his most recent appearance on ‘One Night with Steiny’, Brown was asked to name his top three NFL players who have CTE currently. Number 1 on the list was Miami’s Tyreek Hill.

“No. 1 has gotta be Cheetah,” Brown said. “Tyreek Hill could’ve won four Super Bowls, but he had 10 kids in Miami and made no playoffs. That’s gotta be trauma. I think Aaron Rodgers got a little CTE. He’s a good player but anytime you got trauma that’s outside the game that’s just something you’re dealing with. I feel like you gotta play football with a good spirit, a happy energy because you’re creating your reality and it’s like everybody’s naysaying over if the team winning or what you’re doing so it’s a lot of talk over you. You gotta have blinders where you have happy energy that you want to put and see your goals.” Antonio Brown said on ‘One Night with Steiny’.

With Tyreek Hill as no. 1 on the list, and Aaron Rodgers as second, Brown went on to name himself as no. 3. Tyreek Hill, also named ‘Cheetah’ due to his speed, was the 165th pick in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft and was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs. Tyreek Hill played in KC from 2016 to 2021 and then was traded to the Miami Dolphins, where he has been playing since 2022.

Tyreek Hill Faces Ire Of Fans After Telling Dolphins To Improve Their Roster

Meanwhile, Tyreek Hill has been criticized by Miami fans after suggesting that the Dolphins improve their roster since he wants to win. The Miami Dolphins finished the 2024 NFL season second in the AFC East table with eight wins and nine defeats. In that season, wide receiver Tyreek Hill managed 81 receptions for a total of 959 yards, scoring six touchdowns.

Miami fans certainly did not like what Tyreek Hill said about the team and criticized him terribly on social media. Some went on to mention that the wide receiver should be a better teammate first and then ask the team to improve themselves, with others suggesting that he be traded off.
