The Miami Dolphins are preparing to play the New England Patriots in Week 8 without their best wide receiver. The Dolphins injury report had a few big names for the offense on it, including wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
Hill and Raheem Mostert did not practice for the Dolphins on Wednesday. Mostert has an ankle injury. That’s a significant concern for the Dolphins this week, as the team already has De’Von Achane on injured reserve.

But losing Hill would be devastating for an exciting Dolphins offense, especially given the shortage of help at running back. A few Dolphins players spoke about Hill’s injury, and it’s clear from their statements that the Dolphins are unsure when Hill will return, and the team is planning to play the Patriots without him.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport Tweeted it’s a real possibility Hill misses Week 8 after Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle said it was above his pay grade to speculate on Hill’s availability this week.

The Dolphins have two more days of practice for Hill to progress. But it looks like he’s not trending to play early in the practice week.
