Trevor Lawrence’s wife, Marissa Lawrence, recently hosted a Q&A session on Instagram and spilled some tea. Among the topics discussed in the Q&A was her and Trevor’s reaction to the news that they were getting a baby girl.
Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback, dated Marissa all the way through high school. In fact, the high-school sweethearts knew each other from the fifth grade. The couple has been going strong ever since and got married in 2021. They have two dogs – Indie and Jones, and recently were blessed with a baby girl, Shae Lynn.
“I think it’s funny because we both really thought she was going to be a boy. And we were like, honestly, a little bit like, ‘Dang,’ when she wasn’t a boy. Obviously, now that she’s born, I’m like, ‘I cannot imagine having a boy.’ I think it’s important to have both because they’re just so different, and the needs they have are different. But girls are just so sweet, protective, and innocent. I think he [Trevor] always thought he wanted boys, and now that we have her, he’s like, ‘I don’t know, I wouldn’t be mad if we only had girls,” Marissa Lawrence said in her Instagram Q&A session.

Meanwhile, Trevor Lawrence is currently gearing up for the 2025 NFL season with the rest of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars finished third in the AFC South after winning four games and losing 13 in the 2024 NFL season, and will be eager to do better in the upcoming year.

Trevor Lawrence Confident Of Playing In First Week Of 2025 NFL Season
While there were many challenges that quarterback Trevor Lawrence had to face in the last few months, what with his injury and trade rumors, he still seems to be quite confident of playing for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the very first week of the 2025 NFL season. Lawrence recently underwent shoulder surgery for his non-throwing shoulder last December after his injury.

In a recent conversation, Lawrence admitted that he felt fully confident of playing in the very first week in the 2025 NFL season. The quarterback also stated he has been making tweaks to his playing style with the head coach, so as to not strain his non-throwing shoulder much. Instead of focusing on his upper body, Lawrence has been working on his footwork in order to compensate.
