Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Devin Brown (33) hands off to Quinshon Judkins (1) for the scarlet team during the first half of the LifeSports spring football game at Ohio Stadium on Saturday.
James Laurinaitis played linebacker for the Buckeyes from 2005 to 2008, recording over 100 tackles in three straight seasons. This helped him win the Butkus Award for the best linebacker in college football in 2007.
Laurinaitis is now the linebacker coach at Ohio State, and before he teaches his players how to take down opposing Big Ten teams’ quarterbacks, he is going to teach them how to win at NCAA 25. Laurinaitis was on 97.1 the Fan in Columbus, the old radio station he used to host a daily show on before he left for coaching at Notre Dame in 2022, and he had this to say about the new video game.

Laurinaitis will not be messing around when playing video games against his current players. The former linebacker grew up on NCAA video games, and while he was a member of the Buckeyes in the mid-2000s, the game was super big on many platforms, and Laurinaitis will know a thing or two about how to beat his current players at the game.
