She swept the NFL world by storm, putting members of the Chiefs organization in a trance. A number of her fans, or “swifties”, as they’re more formally known, have converted into NFL fans as a result. Kelce now has the highest-selling jersey in the NFL, as he’s gained a surplus of new fans. It was quite the moment for the entire Kelce family.
Travis Kelce reflects on the experience
On his podcast “New Heights”, Kelce spoke with his brother Jason about the weekend and what the experience was like. Swift was with his family in a suite as they watched the Chiefs take on the Chicago Bears. It’s safe to say Swift left everyone in the building with a positive sentiment.
“I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her — the friends and family. She looked amazing, and everybody was talking about her in great light,”
The mother and girlfriend of the best tight end in football watching him play together is quite the family bonding exercise. Swift was really getting into the game, having a great time watching Kelce and the Chiefs play.
“To see the slow motion chest bumps, to see the high fives with mom, to see how, you know, Chiefs kingdom was all excited that she was there — that s— was absolutely hysterical, and it was definitely a game I’ll remember, that’s for damn sure.”
Not only did Swift’s appearance boost spirits, but the Chiefs played one hell of a game. Kansas City served the Bears with a 41-10 beatdown as Kelce played his best game of the season, racking up 69 receiving yards and a touchdown. It was a bright, bright day for Chiefs fans everywhere.
