Travis Kelce, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, recently stopped by the ‘Bussin’ With the Boys’ podcast and discussed several topics, mainly as to what he expects from himself in the upcoming season with his team. Kelce seems to be going all out to ensure better numbers from himself in the 2025 NFL season after performing disastrously for the Chiefs in the previous year.

Kelce’s numbers were far below impressive, even when the team somehow made it to the Super Bowl. In the Super Bowl matchup against the Eagles, Kelce’s performance completely crumbled, and the Chiefs lost abysmally with a final 40-22. Later on, the tight end did remark that he was distracted by many factors during the year, particularly the publicity of his relationship with Taylor Swift, which eventually led to his terrible performance.

“This year, I kind of put all that to the side. I’m like, ‘man, I’m going into the last year of my contract, 13th year, I want to make this dream that I’ve always had, the best it’s ever been.’ I think I failed last year in a lot of different ways for my guys on the field, in terms of being a leader, in terms of being prepared and ready to rock and I’m motivated to f***ing be accountable for the guys.” Travis Kelce spoke about his hopes for the upcoming NFL season in his latest appearance on the ‘Bussin’ With the Boys’ podcast.

Travis Kelce also remarked that in previous offseasons, he always tried to take on a big project to prepare for the future in the long run. However, in this offseason, Kelce seems to have devoted all his time and energy into becoming a better player and teammate with the Kansas City Chiefs.

In the same podcast episode, Travis Kelce spoke extensively about how he has no personal life anymore after he started dating pop star Taylor Swift. While Kelce was already a pretty popular football player, his fame and popularity skyrocketed almost immediately after he started dating Swift.

Kelce admitted that he definitely did not expect so many cameras and paparazzi to be following him all the time, even if he is doing something pretty mundane. In order to refocus on their relationship, Kelce and Swift have taken a step back from the public spotlight after the Super Bowl loss this year and only recently have started making public appearances again.
