Arch Manning is poised to kick off his first full season as the starting quarterback for the Texas Longhorns, and NFL enthusiasts simply can’t get enough of this. Manning is already regarded as one of the best-performing college quarterbacks out there and is expected to be one of the top prospects in the NFL draft next year.
Manning’s promotion to full-time starting quarterback even got a stunning prediction from renowned sports columnist Paul Finebaum, who expects the young talent to be the next Tim Tebow, who played college football for the Florida Gators and won the Heisman Trophy in 2007.
“I think there’s a big chance that Arch Manning will be sitting on the front row in New York at the Heisman ceremony. That’s assuming that his team does what it’s supposed to do and compete not only for the ACC or the national championship, and I really believe they will. I believe also, that Arch Manning is the best college football quarterback we have seen since Tim Tebow entered the scene in 2006.” Paul Finebaum said about Arch Manning on ESPN’s ‘Get Up’ on Tuesday.

The Texas Longhorns are hoping that Arch Manning propels them toward a championship win. In the 2024 NCAA season, Manning threw for 939 yards, scoring nine touchdowns in total for the team.
Arch Manning’s Footwork Praised By EJ Manuel
Arch Manning has proven himself completely worthy of the starting quarterback position with the Texas Longhorns, and Paul Finebaum was not the only one who had lofty expectations from the young football player. Former NFL quarterback EJ Manuel, also discussed Manning’s promotion to full-time starting quarterback for Texas and picked up on one aspect of Arch Manning’s game.
Manuel noticed Arch Manning’s “calm footwork” and compared it to other young quarterbacks who are known to be jittery with their feet. Manning’s footwork is, of course, not the only aspect of his game that has lifted him up to be one of the best college football quarterbacks out there. The player’s work ethic and hustle mode have also been major factors in his success.
Manning’s name will be called out among the top picks in the NFL draft next year, and several teams are already eyeing the young prospect. Among them are the Dallas Cowboys, which alternative theorists are predicting to tank on purpose, just to secure Manning for their roster.
