Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce gave his honest opinion upon discovering that the Chiefs would face the Los Angeles Chargers in September in São Paulo, Brazil.
More than the location being a long way from home, Travis Kelce expressed his concerns about playing under the extreme heat.
“This doesn’t come out until Wednesday? Yeah, we’re definitely playing in Brazil,” he said during one of the recent episodes of his “New Heights” podcast. “I also heard those rumors. I’ll be there playing football in the f***ing heat.”
This game will mark the second-ever NFL regular-season matchup in Brazil, following last year’s opener. It will be streamed for free on YouTube, making it the first exclusive NFL game broadcast globally on the platform
“There’s just something about getting closer to the equator that I don’t want to put on a football uniform doing that. I’ve been in Jacksonville in September and that’s f***ing miserable.”
“I’d rather it be dry than humid,” he added. “I’m sweaty. If it’s hot and humid, and kind of what I’m expecting, I’m going to be miserable, but we’re going to find a way to get a win.”

The speculation gained momentum as Kelce confidently posed for cameras, flashing a knowing smirk. His appearance at the event, alongside his brother Jason Kelce, came just a day after he and Swift were spotted enjoying a Mother’s Day meal with Kelce’s family in Philadelphia.
The couple, who have been together since mid-2023, have made numerous public appearances and openly supported each other at major events, including the Super Bowl and Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour.
Despite the growing excitement, there has been no official confirmation from either Kelce or Swift regarding an engagement.
Sources close to Swift suggest that while she sees Travis Kelce as “The One,” she is cautious about rushing into marriage, preferring to take her time with such a significant commitment.
