Travis Kelce, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, recently revealed the reasons behind him and his brother, Jason Kelce, coming up with their podcast ‘New Heights’. The famous footballer who is currently dating the even more famous pop-singer Taylor Swift was interviewed at the recent Cannes Lions 2025 event in Paris.
According to Travis Kelce, the entire reason behind the ‘New Heights’ podcast was to showcase the strong relationship between himself and his brother, Jason Kelce. Both Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce were players in the National Football League for several seasons together in rival teams. However, no one hardly knew the fact that the two players are indeed brothers in real life.
“I think we’ve always wanted to show everybody our brotherhood, our family, how we’re in this crazy football world together, supporting each other from different sides of the country. It was an opportunity to spend more time together,” Travis Kelce said about the ‘New Heights’ podcast when he was interviewed at Cannes Lions in Paris.

Since its start, the ‘New Heights’ podcast has become tremendously successful and has even hosted a number of famous guests, including NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal. Fans of the podcast seem to love the contrasting personalities between Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce, and also their camaraderie.
One of the guests who still has not made it to the podcast as of yet is Travis Kelce’s long-time girlfriend, Taylor Swift. Many fans of the podcast continuously ask for her in the comments section, but there have been no signs of her appearing anytime soon.
Travis Kelce Sheds Weight In Preparation For New NFL Season
Apart from working closely with his brother Jason Kelce for the ‘New Heights’ podcast, Travis Kelce is also training hard for the upcoming NFL season. Travis Kelce shocked fans with his impressive 25-pound weight loss as part of his training for the next football season with the Chiefs.
It looks like Travis Kelce is all out to prove that he is still a threat on the field after a disastrous Super Bowl performance against the Philadelphia Eagles. Kelce’s last season with the Chiefs was definitely lackluster with the tight end putting up sad numbers for the team.
After the Super Bowl loss to the Eagles, Travis Kelce has been lying low, along with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. In recent times, it looks like Kelce’s confidence is almost fully back and the tight end has been making more public appearances, including the Stanley Cup Finals.
