Travis Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, recently praised his luck in his NFL career on the latest episode of their podcast ‘New Heights’. The Kelce brothers had former NFL player Joe Thomas as a guest on their show and the older Kelce could not help comparing his career to that of Travis Kelce.
Joe Thomas played for the Cleveland Browns from 2007 to 2017 but his entire NFL career went by without a Super Bowl win. During his time with the Browns, Thomas and the rest of the team struggled through winless seasons and multiple coaching regimes. On the other hand, Travis Kelce has been playing for the Kansas City Chiefs since 2013 under one coach, and has gone on to win three Super Bowls.
“Like, what was that process like playing? I mean, you played on a winless team in Cleveland. I can’t even imagine that. Travis hasn’t had one losing season. Like, you’re talking to the most lucky f**king guy on the planet—one head coach,” Jason Kelce said on the ‘New Heights’ podcast to former NFL player, Joe Thomas.
While Travis Kelce has managed to collect three Super Bowl rings with the Kansas City Chiefs, his brother Jason Kelce only has one, from the 2017 NFL season. Jason Kelce played for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2011 to 2023 when he announced his retirement from the game. While Travis Kelce plays as a tight end, his brother Jason Kelce played as a center.

Travis Kelce Missing From Spotlight Because Of Super Bowl Loss
After losing embarrassingly to the Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl LIX, Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs tight end, has been staying strangely mum. Kelce is known to be quite competitive and has an obvious jovial nature. However, his movements have been fairly limited and low since the terrible defeat.

While most sources claim that Kelce hopes to refocus on his relationship with pop singer Taylor Swift and is, therefore, staying away from the spotlight, certain insiders have remarked that the NFL player is feeling embarrassed after a dismal performance in the Super Bowl matchup. As a result of his embarrassment, Kelce is keeping to himself, and Swift is simply being a good girlfriend by supporting him.

In the 2024 NFL season, Travis Kelce managed a total of 97 receptions for 823 yards, scoring only three touchdowns. His performance in that year was definitely not up to mark. In the Super Bowl matchup against the Eagles, Kelce was at his worst, managing only four receptions with no scores.
