Colorado grabs another decisive win today against Big 12 foe Utah. Travis Hunter and the Buffaloes managed to tack on 49 points in their victory despite the Utes having the No. 1 defense in the conference. All eyes were on Colorado star Travis Hunter as he continued to build upon his Heisman-like resume. Today Hunter made huge plays on both sides of the ball, and made a bold statement in the process.

The Heisman hopeful, like many games this season, filled the stat sheet with his offensive and defensive presence. As a receiver, Hunter hauled in 5 catches for 55 yards, including an incredible catch over two Utah defenders on 4th and long.  He also recorded his 3rd interception of the season today to pair with his dagger of a touchdown in the final 2 minutes of the game.

    Travis Hunter’s statement

Travis made a bold statement after finding the end zone and snagging the interception. After both plays, he found the nearest camera and struck the iconic Heisman pose. Striking this pose isn’t something that any player can do; only the most elite players in college football can imitate the trophy’s likeness, and it be unanimously accepted by football fans. Hunter has made it known through his actions today and in prior interviews that he believes he deserves one of college football’s highest honors.

    The favorite

Travis Hunter already had the highest odds to win the Heisman going into the game this afternoon; his performance today is likely to keep him in the lead. It is always entertaining to watch Travis take the field on Saturdays; it is almost a sure thing that you will see a wildly impressive play when he’s out there. It will be interesting to see how he will outdo himself in the weeks to come.
