Tom Brady was a great NFL quarterback. It’s unclear if his immense knowledge of the game of football will translate in the FOX NFL broadcast booth on Sundays this year.
Or in the next decade.
Tom Brady is raking in cash
FOX and Brady agreed to a ten-year deal worth $375 million for the seven-time Super Bowl champion to call league games on Sundays. He’s set to make his debut calling games in the regular season when the Dallas Cowboys play the Cleveland Browns in Week 1.
FOX had Brady appear during the halftime show for the Michigan/Texas game. Brady was on air with Joel Klatt to preview the former Michigan quarterback’s first color commentator job.
Brady didn’t appear confident on Saturday
Brady fumbled around when giving his answers. He didn’t appear to speak with confidence to the football audience watching at home. At the end of their conversation, Brady awkwardly left Klatt hanging.

NFL fans bashed Brady for his broadcasting preview
FOX took a gamble by handing Brady a big paycheck without first testing his abilities in the booth. He might never pan out the way Tony Romo did at CBS. Or, perhaps Brady will grow into the role and become a better announcer.
