The Florida Gators finished with a 7-5 record during the 2024 college football season. Florida needs to get off to a better start in 2025 if they want to have any shot at making the college football playoffs.

Florida Gators Analyst Thinks the Team Has To Have a Fast Start In 2025 To Make the Playoffs

“They’ve got to start September hot if this is the kind of world they want to live in. Florida plays Miami and LSU early in the year. So I’m assuming, if this ends up being a reality, you beat either one or both of those teams. That would accomplish what I think are the most important ingredients to knocking playoff teams out-those two are real contenders.”
The LSU game on September 13 will be very telling about where Florida will be heading for the 2025 college football season. The Gators will also have the Georgia Bulldogs, the Texas Longhorns, the Ole Miss Rebels, and the Tennessee Volunteers will be other key SEC Conference games on Florida’s schedule. They will face the Florida State Seminoles on November 29 and if Florida doesn’t show signs of improvement in 2025, Napier will be fired and out of a job also.
