The New York Giants are 2-12 this season and they are on track to get the number one pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. This weekend, they will go on the road and face the Atlanta Falcons (7-7).
Last weekend against the Baltimore Ravens, Tommy DeVito was the starting quarterback and Tim Boyle was the second quarterback. This week against Atlanta, Drew Lock was named the starting quarterback for the New York Giants.
New York Giants Fans React To Drew Lock Starting This Week Against the Atlanta Falcons
With Lock starting this week, many Giants fans are hoping they don’t win the game. Any win in the final three games of the regular season could cost them a chance at either Shedeur Sanders of Colorado or Cam Ward of Miami. New York fans don’t want Lock or anyone else to play well for them. Here is what the fanbase said about Lock starting this weekend against the Atlanta Falcons:
They just can’t make up their mind

Of course, there are Giants fans who think Drew Lock will be the tank commander for them. They also believe that Lock should pass the football to rookie star wide receiver Malik Nabers this weekend. Four quarterbacks have played this season in New York.
Atlanta Falcons Starting Michael Penix Jr. This Weekend As Well
To go along with the Giants going back to Drew Lock to start this weekend, the Falcons have decided to bench Kirk Cousins for rookie quarterback Michael Penix Jr. on Tuesday night. Head coach Raheem Morris decided to make the switch.
The Atlanta Falcons (7-7) next to beat the Giants to keep pace with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-6) in the NFC South race. A lot of New York fans would be upset if they won against Atlanta this weekend knowing they need the number one overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
