Former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was the 199th overall pick (sixth-round selection) in the 2000 NFL Draft from the University of Michigan. Despite being a sixth-round selection, Brady is probably the best quarterback to have ever stepped onto an NFL field.

During his career, he won a total of seven Super Bowl titles and also lost three of them. He won six with New England and Brady also won a title with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the 2020 NFL season. Brady and Peyton Manning were two of the greatest quarterbacks who battled it out year after year.
Former New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady Named PFF Team Over Past 25 Years

Jonathon Macri of profootballfocus.com wrote about the greatest players at each position over the last 25 years in the NFL. For the quarterback position, he chose the former Patriots star over the former Indianapolis Colts star. Macri said,
“(98.6 Career PFF Grade)
It’s no surprise that the greatest quarterback of all time earned the highest career overall grade across all positions in PFF history.
Brady accounts for half of the six highest season-long PFF passing grades in the PFF era, between his 2017 (93.4), 2007 (93.9) and 2016 (94.2) campaigns. No statistic quite holds up to seven Super Bowl victories, but Brady’s 2.0% turnover-worthy play rate on more than 12,000 PFF-graded dropbacks is a remarkable feat.”
Brady retired after the 2022 NFL season with the Buccaneers. He is eligible to be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2028. There is no doubt that he is going to be a first ballot hall of famer. During his career, he played in 335 games.
Brady completed 64.3% of his passes for 89,214 yards, 649 touchdowns, and 212 interceptions. He has the all-time record in passing yards and passing touchdowns. It will be interesting to see if anyone will ever come close or even break those records that the former Patriots star quarterback accomplished.
He has won the MVP Award and also Super Bowl MVP several times. Brady led the league in passing yards in one season four times. The most he ever had in one season was in 2021 with Tampa Bay with 5,316 yards. Brady led the league in passing touchdowns five times. The most he ever had in one season was 50 in 2007 with the Patriots.
There are some people who will believe that Manning was better than Brady was. However, Pro Football Focus made the right call here with Brady over Manning.
