The Cleveland Browns Are Reportedly Moving The Team Out Of The City

The Cleveland Browns 2024 season has been a disaster, and they are heading into Week Seven with a record of 1-5, and it doesn’t seem like they will win more than four games this year.

Cleveland will host three home games in a row starting this weekend, and this could be one of the last few years that Browns fans have seen their team play in the city of Cleveland.

Since February of this year, there have been rumors that the Browns were looking to build a dome in Brook Park, a few miles outside of Cleveland. A new report dropped on Thursday shows that the Browns look to be moving homes.

According to Fox 8 News, “The Fox 8 I-Team has learned the Cleveland Browns have decided to move the stadium from the lakefront and build a dome in Brook Park.”

Fox 8  also stated, “No formal decision has been made, but sources close to the negotiations tell us the team is moving out of the city. ”

The current stadium lease doesn’t end until 2028, so the Browns will still be playing their games there for at least the next four seasons, but building a dome is a huge win for Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam and Northeast Ohio.

Many people will be upset that the Browns are leaving the city of Cleveland, but Brook Park is less than 15 minutes away, and there will be so many huge events that the dome can hold, like NCAA Final Fours, concerts, Super Bowls, and many other things.

The best part is that fans no longer have to freeze to watch a football team that can’t find the endzone more than two times a game.

Cleveland will be the first team in the AFC North with a dome stadium, and there will be more teams to follow their trend.
