The Cleveland Browns quarterback battle has been a major trend on Twitter over the last several months and it will continue heading into the 2025 NFL season. With that in mind, the Toronto Blue Jays were playing the Cleveland Guardians on Thursday afternoon in Cleveland, Ohio.

During the top of the third inning, starting pitcher Tanner Bibee threw a pickoff attempt to first base, but it was a bad throw. The runner on third base for the Blue Jays ran from third to home and Guardians first baseman Kyle Manzardo air mailed the throw from first base to home plate.
Cleveland Browns Quarterback Situation Gets Roasted By Toronto Blue Jays Social Media Page

When the Guardians committed the error in the third inning against the Blue Jays, Toronto went up 3-0 in the game against Cleveland and won by a final score of 6-0. The Blue Jays social media team thought that throw from first base to home plate was so bad that they decided to roast the Browns on social media. This is what they posted on Twitter during the middle of the game:

The Toronto social media team is obviously roasting the Browns quarterback situation, even though Toronto doesn’t have an NFL team. The NFL team that Toronto fans would probably be rooting for is Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. Also, Toronto, Ontario is home of the Toronto Argonauts in the CFL as well.

Dang! The NFL shade from the top rope of Toronto 😂

This was a very interesting tweet from the Blue Jays twitter page to begin with. It was not a surprise that Browns fans didn’t like getting roasted from a team from a different country altogether. For now, Cleveland’s quarterback battle will be between Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel, and Shedeur Sanders.
Deshaun Watson is out of the picture entirely for them. It will be interesting to see if the Browns will be getting roasted once again by social media teams for their current quarterback situation.
