The Tennessee Titans finished with a 3-14 record this past season in the NFL and will also have the number one overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. There are a lot of needs for this Titans roster and one of the biggest needs for this franchise is quarterback.

It appears as if Will Levis is not the answer for this franchise in the long term. There has been constant turnover in the front office for Tennessee over the last few seasons. Brian Callahan, the head coach for this franchise, will look to win more games during the 2025 NFL season.
Latest PFF Mock Draft Has the Tennessee Titans Selecting Travis Hunter First Overall

The Tennessee Titans hold all of the cards in the 2025 NFL Draft with the number one overall pick. Many are wondering if they are going to draft Shedeur Sanders, Cam Ward, trade back, or do something else with that selection.
Well, Pro Football Focus writer Jordan Plocher has the Tennessee Titans selecting Colorado Buffaloes cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter with the number one overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Plocher said:
“When selecting first overall, a team’s top priority should be securing a player who delivers on that investment with high-level production. Reaching for positional value or banking on height/weight/speed outliers can lead to disappointment. The Titans avoid that risk by making the smartest move possible—selecting the best player in the draft class, Travis Hunter, with the No. 1 pick.”
Travis Hunter is 6’1″ and weighs 185 lbs. There is no doubt that Hunter might be the best athlete in this year’s draft class. Tennessee would be taking a safe bet with this selection. Last season with the Colorado Buffaloes, he caught 96 passes for 1,258 yards receiving and 15 touchdowns, along with averaging 13.1 yards per reception.
Last season on defense, he had 35 tackles, 11 pass deflections, one forced fumble, and four interceptions. It will be interesting to see which position Hunter will be playing at when he gets to the NFL.
Abdul Carter Potential Option

If the Tennessee Titans want to become unblockable up front, they could very well draft Abdul Carter number one overall from the Penn State Nittany Lions. Pairing him with Jeffrey Simmons would be a scary sight for this defense. The defense was not the problem last season and they struggled offensively.
However, the Tennessee Titans are rebuilding so they are not one player away from being a contender. They need to stack the roster with as much talent as possible during the 2025 NFL Draft and see if Travis Hunter or someone else will be the right pick for them also.
