Stefon Diggs‘ latest NSFW spotting with girlfriend rapper Cardi B seemed to have disappointed former NFL defensive end and ESPN analyst, Chris Canty. Canty appeared on ‘First Take’ and discussed why Diggs’ recent behaviors are not in line with the principles and values of his team, the New England Patriots.
Diggs and Cardi have been romantically linked since 2024 but things between them were not confirmed solidly until recently when the rapper shared a number of intimate pictures of them both on a yacht. Cardi B also shared a video clip where she can be seen giving the Patriots wide receiver a lap dance.
“For a franchise that’s trying to turn the page on the Bill Belichick era, and rolling into this season with a second-year quarterback, having this tension where you have to question whether your star wide receiver reflects the values of the franchise and the program that new coach Mike Vrabel is trying to build just doesn’t make any sense. When it comes to Stefon Diggs, all you have to ask yourself is: is the juice worth the squeeze? You’re talking about somebody who’s going into his age-32 season, and prior to last year, each of the previous six seasons, the guy had over a thousand yards receiving. Yet, we’re talking about him being on his fourth team during that span. So, the question is, why is an uber-productive receiver not able to stick, not able to find a home? It comes down to the personality, the drama, the attitude — it comes down to the baggage of Stefon Diggs.” Chris Canty said about Stefon Diggs on ESPN’s ‘First Take’.
Stefon Diggs will be making his debut with the New England Patriots in the forthcoming NFL season. During the offseason, Diggs signed a three-year deal with the Patriots for a sum of $63 million and will be their main wide receiver in the 2025 NFL season.

Stefon Diggs And Patriots To Open Season With Raiders
Meanwhile, Stefon Diggs and the rest of the New England Patriots will be gearing up for a brand new season of football. The Patriots are scheduled to meet the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 1. Before that, the Patriots will warm up with three preseason games against the Washington Commanders, the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Giants.

Diggs will be eager to make a stronger record for himself in the upcoming season for the New England Patriots. In the 2024 NFL season, the wide receiver played for the Houston Texans, managing a total of 47 receptions for 496 yards and scoring three touchdowns for the team.
