Tom Brady is definitely a fan of the heated rivalry between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese in the WNBA, according to a recent interview with Bleacher Report. Brady was asked about the athletes who would go down in his Mt. Rushmore in sports, when the topic came up.
Brady had several athletes to mention in his top four, and the list definitely went longer than the number. The first name out of Brady’s mouth was none other than Michael Jordan, who many still consider to be the GOAT in basketball.
“Michael Jordan. He was my childhood idol. He was unbelievable. Obviously, I loved Kobe Bryant. I still love Kobe Bryant. Tiger (Woods), his competitiveness. What Rory McIlroy has done, I love that. Shohei Ohtani, what he’s done has been unbelievable. Barry Bonds. He went to my high school. I was the biggest fan of him growing up. Michael Phelps. I love him. … Michael Johnson. A’ja Wilson, from my Las Vegas Aces. I love her, she’s amazing. Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, this little thing they got going, I love that. It’s been really exciting.” Tom Brady spoke about his top athletes in an interview with Bleacher Report.
Tom Brady’s favorite rivalry, the Caitlin Clark vs. Angel Reese rivalry, will be once again seen in action this weekend as the Indiana Fever take on the Chicago Sky. This will be the second time that the two teams meet in this season of the WNBA. However, it is most likely that Clark will sit out the game as she continues to recover from her quads injury.
The Caitlin Clark vs. Angel Reese take has been going on since their NCAA days. The rivalry has leaked onto the WNBA, where the two players are playing for rival teams. In the previous matchup between the two, Reese’s Chicago Sky took a severe thrashing.
