The South Carolina Gamecocks surged toward the end of the 2024 college football regular season. South Carolina finished the regular season with a 9-3 record, but they just missed the college football playoffs. Shane Beamer, the head coach of the Gamecocks, received a lot of praise from the fans toward the end of the season.

The Gamecocks 2025 college football schedule was revealed on Wednesday. South Carolina will begin the 2025 season against the Virginia Tech Hokies from the ACC Conference on August 31. They will begin conference play on September 13 against the Vanderbilt Commodores.

The LSU Tigers, the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Ole Miss Rebels, and the Texas A&M Aggies will be some of the other key games in conference play for the South Carolina Gamecocks. South Carolina will face the Clemson Tigers on November 29. The Gamecocks and Tigers game may be a huge game late in the college football season.

I’m not mad at this schedule. We got this! #@CFBPlayoff 2025, here we come!

    Garnet glasses off, 12-0.

If the South Carolina Gamecocks do not make it to the college football playoffs next season, a lot of fans are going to feel disappointed. South Carolina feels like they have a high ceiling for the future. The Gamecocks schedule is not easy by any means, but they could finish 10-2 next year and make the playoffs.
