Simone Biles’ tirade against activist Riley Gaines got a reaction from renowned sports columnist Jason Whitlock. Whitlock, who has been known for his often controversial remarks, took to X to come out in support of Gaines after she was condemned by Biles in a tweet.
Biles’ heated online exchange with Riley Gaines has generated thousands of reactions, from both sports pundits and mere fans. However, not all the reactions are against the decorated gymnast. Many others are supporting the gymnast in the comments section.
“You’re truly sick, all of this campaigning because you lost a race. Straight up sore loser. You should be uplifting the trans community and perhaps finding a way to make sports inclusive OR creating a new avenue where trans feel safe in sports. Maybe a transgender category IN ALL sports!! But instead… You bully them… One things for sure is no one in sports is safe with you around!!!!!” Simone Biles hit out at Riley Gaines after the activist trolled a Minnesota State High School team for playing with a transgender female athlete.
“This is retarded. You should be protecting women,” Jason Whitlock tweeted in response to Simone Biles’ message through his X account.

Simone Biles has definitely faced plenty of heat in the last 24 hours but has said her part frankly and strongly. Biles has often called out for more inclusion in sports and advocated for various causes, particularly in terms of mental health.

Simone Biles’ Tweet Against Riley Gaines Causes USA Gymnastics To Remove Transgender Policy Pages
Meanwhile, Simone Biles’ online feud with Riley Gaines seems to have brought on a ripple effect across multiple organizations, including her own USA Gymnastics. According to recent reports, USA Gymnastics has simply deleted its transgender eligibility policy pages.

At the same time, it is not exactly known whether the highly esteemed organization deleted their policy pages in response to the Biles and Gaines feud. Still, it is very fishy that such a thing would have happened.

The Biles and Gaines debate has opened up plenty of room for debate on admitting trans female athletes to play sports with cisgender women. Many activists like Riley Gaines argue that despite transitioning to the female gender, trans women still have the physique and performance of a male, which definitely gives them more power and stamina than a cisgender woman. Others, like Biles, remark that gender identity is a personal choice and that separate sports categories for trans people need to be made in all events.
