Gymnastics star Simone Biles recently found herself the center of a controversial issue, as she made a statement on the topic of transgenders playing in women’s sports. Her statement, which is in agreement with the inclusivity sentiment, gained the honest opinion of Jason Whitlock’s co-host on his program.
In one of the recent episodes of his program “Fearless,” analyst Jason Whitlock had his co-host Steve Kim get honest on the issue of Simone Biles expressing her strong opinion in agreement with the issue of transgender inclusivity in women’s sports.
For Kim, Biles had no reason to talk on the matter, especially since she has, in the past, expressed an opinion that was the total opposite of what she said recently.
“Your legacy is set,” Kim said. “You’ve won all your gold medals. You’ve won all your World Cups. You don’t have to go against people that have transitioned and blow you out of the water by three steps or just overpower you. It’s the most dishonest argument that could be made, especially in light of the fact that Simone Biles herself about seven, eight years ago said, it’s really great that I don’t have to compete with men. It just would not be fair.”
“The internet is forever.”

Steve Kim was not the only one who raised the old social media post of Biles, as many who have criticized her went to unearth her old post on X that conveniently contradicted what she has recently said on the topic of transgender inclusivity in women’s sports.
Simone Biles Goes Into Online Feud With Riley Gaines Over Transgender Inclusivity in Women’s Sports
Simone Biles didn’t mince words when she took aim at Riley Gaines’s campaign against transgender athletes in women’s sports. After Gaines criticized a Minnesota high school softball team for including a trans player, Biles accused her of being “truly sick” and a “sore loser,” arguing that she ought to uplift, not harass, the trans community.

In defending inclusion, Biles even floated the idea of a dedicated transgender category in all sports and quipped, “Bully someone your own size, which would ironically be a male.”
Gaines hit back just as sharply, branding Biles a “male-apologist at the expense of young girls’ dreams.” She invoked Biles’s own testimony about sexual abuse, suggesting that the gymnastics champion was now advocating for women to undress in front of men.

So far, Simone Biles has gone silent on the matter and has not offered any new statement.
