Shedeur Sanders’ fall in the 2025 NFL Draft will be talked about for years to come. No matter the reason why, it was surprising to see a possible top-10 draft pick fall all the way to the fifth round. Many analysts predicted that Sanders’ pre-draft attitude played a serious role in why teams were hesitant to draft him.
One owner didn’t exactly know how to answer the direct question about why Sanders fell in the draft.

In the 2000 NFL draft, Brady was selected 199th overall, but went on to be a Hall of Famer. It will be up to Sanders, picked in the fifth round by the Cleveland Browns, to defy odds in a similar fashion.
There are a number of factors contributing to Sanders’ slide, but he is certainly talented. He threw for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns in his last year at Colorado.
