Shedeur Sanders, newly drafted quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, was recently downplayed by NFL analysts Steve Kim as a mediocre player. Kim’s remarks on Sanders came at the heels of retired NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III complimenting the Deion ‘Coach Prime’ Sanders’ youngest son as a great performer, even though he has many challenges tossed at him.
Kim appeared on the latest episode of ‘Fearless with Jason Whitlock’ and trolled RGIII for his remarks on Sanders. According to Kim, Sanders’ performance in the OTAs with the Cleveland Browns is not to be taken seriously since he has not actually played a game in the NFL. Kim also highlighted the fact that Sanders was not a first round pick in the 2025 draft, all because teams were not impressed with his performance for the Colorado Buffaloes in his NCAA days.
“When I watch a boxer, they all look good shadow boxing. They all look good on the heavy back. They all look good on the mids. You know when they don’t look good all the time, when someone’s hitting them back and so to his comment looking at these clips you know what didn’t look like a first round draft choice to most teams – his actual game tape at Colorado. I just am absolutely flabbergasted that a guy that played in the National Football League, who understands the position in theory, had various amounts of success, does not understand that everything looks good against air…” Steve Kim spoke about Shedeur Sanders and RGIII on the ‘Fearless with Jason Whitlock’ show.
Shedeur Sanders was initially expected to be a sure-fire first round pick in the 2025 NFL draft. However, the talented quarterback’s name was not called out until the fifth round when the Cleveland Browns managed to bag him.

Shedeur Sanders Is Best Performing QB For Browns According To Team Insider
Meanwhile, even though he has been tossed with thousands of lemons in the last couple of months, Shedeur Sanders has managed to turn them all into sweet lemonade. Sanders is apparently impressing everyone in Cleveland with his performance at the OTAs.

According to Tony Rizzo, a Cleveland-based radio host, the young quarterback is easily looking like the best QB in the entire Browns training camp. This includes veteran quarterback, Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett and newly drafted quarterback Dillon Gabriel. As per various reports, the Cleveland Browns are eager to make room for Shedeur Sanders to show off his quarterback skills for the team in the upcoming NFL season.
