Shedeur Sanders’ NFL career is already off to a controversial start. His fall in the 2025 NFL Draft has made headlines over the last few weeks. However, his lead up to the draft is drawing speculation that Sanders and his family could take legal action against one NFL Franchise.
Breaking: Shedeur Sanders Threatens To Sue NFL Franchise In Shocking Twist (Report)

According to one news source, the New York Giants have footage of Shedeur Sanders that he doesn’t want released:
According to various sources, Shedeur’s interview with the NFC East team did not go well. It’s been widely reported that the quarterback didn’t take it well after he was called out for not spotting the intentional mistakes the team put in a package for him.
An X user going by the name Wesley Steinberg, who claims to be an “NFL and NY Giants Insider,” has made what seems to be a very fictitious claim, noting that the Sanders family and the Cleveland Browns have threatened to sue the Giants if footage of the meeting gets out.
“I’m told the footage of Shedeur Sanders’ meeting with the #Giants is so bad that both the #Browns and Sanders family have threatened legal action if it is published,” they wrote.

Fans were quick to react to this news story:
“So it’s better to claim everyone in the NFL is racist for not drafting him than releasing the tape,” a fan commented.
“They cried when there was a harmless prank call; can only imagine the softy tears if they dropped the footage 😂😂😂,” another wrote.
Of course, it didn’t get by everyone.
“He trolling but I believe the footage is bad,” a fan shared, referencing the reports on the negative feelings stemming from Shedeur Sanders’ meeting with the G-Men.
It’s very likely that the Giants have footage of their meeting with the former Colorado star, as such events are typically recorded.
The Giants even had recordings of their top brass discussing Saquon Barkley’s potential move to Philadelphia leak out.
As to whether or not we’ll ever get to see clips from Shedeur’s meeting is left to time to tell, but it’s doubtful that the Giants will get sued over it.
