Shedeur Sanders, quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, did not have the preseason finale he was expecting to in the weekend game against the Los Angeles Rams. Sanders, who was stunning in the preseason opener against the Carolina Panthers, did not play for a long time against the Rams, and was pulled out before the end. Instead of Sanders, quarterback Tyler Huntley ended the game.
Despite the Browns winning with a final 19-17 score, numerous fans have called out head coach Kevin Stefanski for taking such a strange decision. Some even went on to condemn Stefanski for trying to ruin Shedeur Sanders’ career. However, other seasoned coaches, like Quincy Avery, came to Stefanski’s defense.

“you have any thoughts on stefanski putting in snoop for the 2 min drill and not seeing how the rookie would handle it” X user, Mason Martinez, asked coach Quincy Avery.

“I think Stefanski is a really good coach. Coaches know their team and their room better than we ever could. I’m sure he had good logic behind the decision.” Quincy Avery responded about Shedeur Sanders and Kevin Stefanski.

In the preseason finale against the Los Angeles Rams, Sanders managed to throw for 14 yards, completing three passes out of six attempts. Meanwhile, quarterback Dillon Gabriel and Joe Flacco each managed a solo touchdown for the win.
Shedeur Sanders Should Leave Cleveland Browns As Per Skip Bayless
Shedeur Sanders’ performance in the preseason finale against the Los Angeles Rams has brought plenty of condemnation for the Cleveland Browns, with many people worrying for the young quarterback’s future in the NFL. In fact, some sports pundits like Skip Bayless have argued that Sanders should simply quit the team.

“Shedeur has to go elsewhere. The only way to get free of this situation is to free Shedeur from Cleveland. Free him. It’s either for them to cut him, or them to practice squad him and some other team, somebody out there, they go sign him off of the practice squad.” Skip Bayless said about Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns.
Meanwhile, Shedeur Sanders himself seems pretty satisfied with where he’s at with the Cleveland Browns right now. The youngest son of Deion Sanders shared an Instagram post after the game ended, giving his gratitude for the “love and support”. The rookie quarterback also promised that he will keep “learning and getting better” day after day.
