The Seattle Seahawks still need to address their interior offensive line, both guard positions in particular, after losing left guard Laken Tomlinson to the Houston Texans and their struggles at right guard last season. Anthony Bradford started the first 11 games at right guard before suffering a season-ending injury, and Sataoa Laumea replaced him for their final six weeks. However, neither Bradford nor Laumea stood out in 2024 as the Seahawks continue to look for a veteran interior lineman.

According to Corbin K. Smith of Emerald City Spectrum, the Seahawks are expected to host Teven Jenkins for a visit today at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center (VMAC). As Smith points out, medicals will be a key factor in this visit, given his extensive injury history over the past four seasons. If the medicals come back positive, they could end up signing Jenkins to a contract.

The intriguing offensive lineman has battled many injuries

Teven Jenkins has not been able to stay healthy in each of his first four seasons with the Chicago Bears, causing him to miss 23 games, and he has yet to play a full season, with the most games played being 14 in 2024. Jenkins missed 11 games in 2021 with a back injury, four in 2022 with a hip and neck injury, five in 2023 with a calf injury, and three in 2024 with an ankle and calf injury. Even though he has missed significant time with injuries, he is a reliable offensive lineman who can play both guard positions and is excellent in pass protection and run blocking.
Here’s a look at other remaining free-agent guards

- Brandon Scherff
- Shaq Mason
- Will Hernandez (tore ACL in Week 5)
- Dalton Risner
- Lucas Patrick
