    “Oh My God” Seahawks’ QB Geno Smith Leaves Packers Game With Troubling Injury

    The Seattle Seahawks are struggling against the Green Bay Packers.  Mid way through the third quarter, Green Bay is up 20-6.  However, concerns are going a lot deeper than just this game for Seattle fans.

    Quarterback Geno Smith was forced to leave the game after a brutal injury.

    After an apparent leg injury in Sunday’s game against Green Packers, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith left the game:

    The injury took place in the third quarter as Green Bay held a 20-3 lead. Smith leapt and threw the ball under pressure. Packers linebacker Edgerrin Cooper hit Smith in the lower leg while Smith was still in the air. Smith landed awkwardly and was in pain on the ground after the hit.

    On third down, Sam Howell replaced Smith at quarterback. During the Seahawks’ next possession, Howell remained at quarterback.

    As for Smith, he limped to the tunnel and was listed as questionable to return.
