San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey comes from an athletic family. His father is former NFL wide receiver Ed McCaffrey, and his mother, Lisa McCaffrey, played soccer and even scored 56 goals in high school. Meanwhile, the Niners tailback’s brothers, Max Dyland, Luyke and Christian have also been involved in football as players.
Christian has become the biggest football star among his siblings, so in a way, he also grabbed plenty of attention when he attended Max’s wedding over the weekend. Days after Max, the eldest of the brothers, got married to Kathleen Messier, Christian sent a message to the newlyweds.
“One to Remember Congrats to the newlyweds @maxmccaffrey87 @kjmess11,” Christian wrote in a post on Instagram, while sharing a series of photos of the event.

The three-time Pro Bowl running back’s message also got a response from Max and Kathleen.
Max commented on it with “🙌🙌🙌” emojis, while Kathleen said “BEST of the BEST… love you C!!”
San Francisco 49ers’ McCaffrey looking good in the offseason

McCaffrey played just four games with the 49ers in the 2024 season, as injuries took away his chance to have a complete campaign. But he’s now healthy and trending in the right direction, with Matt Barrows of The Athletic making an honest observation of the two-time All-Pro during the 49ers’ workouts
“Christian McCaffrey is healthy again. Following a 2024 season marred by Achilles and knee issues, McCaffrey said his goal this spring was to be available for all of the 49ers’ OTA and minicamp sessions. And while he didn’t look quite like he did in the spring of 2023 — he was prominently intense in OTAs that year, foreshadowing his Offensive Player of the Year campaign — he didn’t have to sit out any sessions. That was a boost of confidence for the running back, who said he’ll be back to training as usual during the summer break, and to a 49ers offense that missed McCaffrey last season, especially in the red zone.”
