Aaron Rodgers’ retirement announcement has shocked the entire NFL world, breaking the hearts of many hardcore football fans and pundits. Retired NFL quarterback and ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky was one of the millions who reacted to Rodgers’ retirement announcement through his X account.

Rodgers made this announcement during his latest appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’. According to the veteran quarterback, the 2025 NFL season with the Pittsburgh Steelers will be his last year before he retires from the game for good. Apparently, this is the main reason as to why the QB decided to sign only a one-year deal with the team.

“I’m pretty sure this is it. That’s why we just did a one-year deal. The Steelers didn’t need to, you know, put any extra years on that or anything. So, for the career that I’ve had, I’ve played 20 freaking years, like, it’s been a long run and I’ve enjoyed it. And what better place to finish than in one of the cornerstone franchises of the NFL with Mike Tomlin and a great group of leadership and great guys in a city that expects you to win.” Aaron Rodgers discussed his retirement in the latest episode of ‘The Pat McAfee Show’.

“HOFer out on his terms. Good for him,” Dan Orlovsky tweeted through his X account.

Aaron Rodgers signed a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers after making them eagerly wait for several months. With Rodgers, the Steelers are confident that they will make a Super Bowl run in the upcoming NFL season.

Aaron Rodgers Is Frustrated With Attention On Wife, Brittani

In the same podcast episode, Aaron Rodgers also expressed his frustration at all the attention his wife, Brittani, has been getting. While the actual identity of Brittani has never been revealed by the quarterback, social media detectives have been hard at work to decode who she is. Brittani is also not active on social media, which has made things more difficult for curious fans.

“The entitlement to information about my private life is so f*****g ridiculous and embarrassing,” Aaron Rodgers said on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’.

Rodgers also went on to clarify that his wife Brittani, never wanted to be a celebrity and never intends to be one someday. Rodgers’ marriage to Brittani came to light during his first training camp with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The veteran quarterback coolly hard-launched his marriage, revealing that he had tied the knot a couple of months back.
