Ryan Day is one of the most disliked people in Ohio at the moment after his Buckeyes fell to Michigan once again, making it the fourth time since 2021.
Ohio State was a 20-point favorite at home against Michigan, so losing to them was worse than in years past. However, the Buckeyes are still in a position to play in the playoffs, and as of right now, they would be hosting Tennessee in the first round if the season ended today.
The Buckeyes are still in a great position to win the national championship, but some fans want Day gone after failing to beat Michigan again.

The Buckeyes are in a complicated situation because Day is winning many games, but he is losing to Michigan and still making the playoffs.
Many programs would love to be in Ohio State’s position of being a title contender each season, and if Day gets let go, there is a chance the program could take a step back and lose to Michigan and also not make the playoffs.
Ryan Day might have to put together a run in the college football playoffs if he wants to keep his job. If he doesn’t get past the second round with this roster, then there is a good chance he won’t be on the sidelines in 2025.
Day should be coaching for this job this postseason, and many fans only want him to stay if he wins it all, which will be difficult.
