Russell Wilson may continue to play with the Pittsburgh Steelers after all, according to NFL insider, Adam Schefter. The 36-year-old quarterback signed a one-year deal with the team last year and with his help, the Steelers finished the 2024 NFL season in second place of the AFC North table with ten wins and seven defeats.

The Steelers managed to make it to the NFL Wild Card Round and played against the Baltimore Ravens where they lost with a final score of 28-14. In his season with the Steelers, quarterback Wilson managed a total of 2,482 yards, scoring 16 touchdowns, while managing five interceptions in total.

“I was with Russell on Friday, and I’m just telling you, the tone that I got from him was entirely different than sports news that are out there and we’ll see what winds up happening, whether or not he’s back there, but I think he feels like there’s definitely a chance he’s going to be back there, like he’s having conversations with the organization about the future and where it’s going to go… but I think he definitely, definitely thinks that he may be back in Pittsburgh.” Adam Schefter said as per the Pat McAfee show.

Russell Wilson was the 75th pick in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft and was selected by the Seattle Seahawks with whom he played from 2012 to 2021. The quarterback then played for the Denver Broncos from 2022 to 2023 and then last season moved to the Steelers.

Russell Wilson And Wife, Ciara, Attend Super Bowl In Style

One thing that Russell Wilson fans can bank on is his sense of fashion and personal style, which seems to have blossomed even more after marrying singer Ciara. On Sunday, Wilson and Ciara could be seen attending the Super Bowl in coordinating outfits. While Russell wore a crisp white t-shirt with beige pants and white sneakers with a beige cap, his wife, CiCi matched his vibe with a white tank top and beige furry bottoms with matching knee-high boots.

The couple also wore matching cross pendants to symbolize their faith and their love for each other. The quarterback and the ‘Princess of R&B’ showed up with Future, Cici’s son with rapper Future. Future could be seen wearing a navy blue vest with a white t-shirt and matching trousers and a baseball cap.
