Russell Wilson was all in awe of his wife Ciara’s Met Gala look as he spoke to E! News after the event. Ciara and Wilson made their first Met Gala appearance as a couple and indeed turned heads with their incredible outfits.
Ciara, affectionately known as CiCi, chose an elegant and stylish LaQuan Smith dress for the event with chain details and cut-outs. On her side, Wilson, New York Giants quarterback, chose a black tux with a coat and a cane, living up to the gala’s theme about Black fashion and dandyism. After the event, Wilson spoke to Zuri Hall from E! remarking that he hoped to “get Cinco tonight”, referring to baby no. 5.

Ciara also mentioned in a later interview that both of them getting ready for the Met Gala made her feel ‘giddy’ since it reminded her of their wedding. While the R&B singer got dressed in one room of their house, Russell Wilson, her husband, got dressed for the Met Gala in another, just like on their wedding day.
Russell Wilson and Ciara have been together since 2015 and got married in 2016. Together, they have four children together, including Future, whom the singer/songwriter brought from a previous relationship with rapper Future.

Russell Wilson and Ciara seem to be still stricken with the Met Gala fever and are continuing to celebrate fashion and style, days after the star-studded event concluded. Wilson and his wife stepped out for a night on the town recently and were spotted looking dapper as ever.
Wilson opted for a white formal shirt with a black tie and black slacks and covered himself with a zipper jacket. Meanwhile, Ciara opted for a satin black cropped jacket with bell-bottom pants and a white sash which ended in a train behind her. The ‘Goodies’ singer had her short blonde hair slicked back and also wore honey-colored lenses to complete her look.
The couple seems to be making the best use of Russell Wilson’s NFL offseason as he prepares for the upcoming season with the New York Giants. This will be Wilson’s first year with the Giants after he was bought by the team recently. In the previous NFL season, Wilson played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, throwing for a total of 2,482 yards, scoring 16 touchdowns along with five interceptions for the team.
