Aaron Rodgers, former New York Jets quarterback, apparently knew about George Pickens being traded out of the Pittsburgh Steelers before anyone. According to NFL reporter Brooke Pryor, Rodgers was definitely not taken by surprise by Pittsburgh’s move to trade out Pickens. In fact, Pryor said on ‘Get Up’ in ESPN that Rodgers is in constant communication with the Steelers, who also know the things that are going on in the veteran quarterback’s personal life.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have not been quiet about their eager interest in attaining Aaron Rodgers. However, Rodgers has not exactly given a positive response about whether or not he would like to join the team for the upcoming season.
“The Steelers have remained in constant contact with him since these conversations began about him potentially landing in Pittsburgh. Based on my conversations in the building, not only are the Steelers aware of what Rodgers has been dealing with in his personal life off the field, but I’m going to guess that that phone works two ways and the Steelers have kept him informed of potential things that they could be going through. I don’t think that this is a move that would catch Aaron Rodgers by surprise,” Brooke Pryor said on ESPN’s ‘Get Up’.
Aaron Rodgers was let go by the New York Jets in March after a subpar season. Before that, Rodgers played for the Green Bay Packers from 2005 to 2022. Prior to stepping foot into the league, the quarterback played college football for Butte College and the California Golden Bears.
Aaron Rodgers’ Wedding Rumors Clarified By AJ Hawk
Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers’ wedding rumors were recently laid to rest by former Green Bay Packers linebacker AJ Hawk, who is close friends with the veteran quarterback. Rodgers was seen wearing a ring on his ring finger at the recent Kentucky Derby, which sparked wedding rumors.
However, AJ Hawk mentioned that it was definitely not ‘wedding’ related and that he and several others showed up to the party as well. Hawk also mentioned that Rodgers’ own close friends do not know his marital status right now, since the 42-year-old is very ‘private and mysterious’ about things like this.
It is therefore safe to assume that while Aaron Rodgers might not exactly be married, his ring definitely looks important to him. Perhaps it’s a promise ring given to him by Brittani, whom he spoke about a few months back on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’.
