New York Jets fans reacted to head coach Robert Saleh taking quarterback Zach Wilson to the ground on the sideline during the first half of the team’s game against the Buffalo Bills Sunday.
Wilson struggled in the first half against the Bills. It took him a handful of passes before the Bills picked him off at the start of the game. However, Wilson doesn’t have it easy with the Jets offense because of the offensive line.
Wilson is only in for the Jets because their offensive line put Aaron Rodgers in the hospital during their first drive of the season. Duress from the Bills gave the Jets a funny moment Sunday.
Wilson was escaping a Bills pass rush when he ran out of bounds on the Jets sideline. He ran in the direction of Saleh, and Saleh appeared to tackle the Jets quarterback lightly. Here’s a video of the incident by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

That would be an easy 15-yarder if any Bills player tried that.

Heck of a job by Robert Saleh to avoid dropping his full body weight on Zach Wilson on the tackle to avoid the roughing call.

He tried to finish the job 😭
