Rob Gronkowski, retired NFL tight end, was one of millions of NBA fans who watched the Indiana Pacers demolish the New York Knicks in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference finals. Gronk took to his X account to share his thoughts on the Pacers making a comeback after seemingly lagging behind in the first half of the game.
The Indiana Pacers managed to win Game 1 against the New York Knicks with an overtime score of 138-135. Indiana was led on the scoreboard by none other than Tyrese Haliburton who chalked up 31 points for the team, grabbing four rebounds and assisting 11 times, while Aaron Nesmith added another 30 points for the Pacers with two boards. Pascal Siakam contributed 17 points for the team, while Andrew Nembhard etched 15 points himself.
“And then the Pacers finished the 4th quarter somehow shooting better than they did to start the game. A very majestic shooting performance to start the game and end it. Impressive.” Rob Gronkowski tweeted through his X account.

Rob Gronkowski has been pretty active on social media after hanging up his cleats. The now-retired tight end played in the NFL from 2010 to 2021 for the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In his NFL career, Gronk won four Super Bowl rings. Before the league, the tight end played college football for the Arizona Cardinals.

Rob Gronkowski Admits That Playing For Patriots Ruined His Health
Rob Gronkowski retired from the NFL after the 2018 season but made a comeback to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020. It was heavily rumored that Gronk’s decision was factored in by Tom Brady, with whom the tight end shared a special relationship. Gronk indeed seemed to follow in Brady’s footsteps as the now-retired quarterback played for the Patriots and the Buccaneers.

However, in a recent conversation on a podcast, Gronkowski admitted that there were several other factors that influenced his decision to come out of retirement and play for the Buccaneers. Gronk revealed that it was not only Brady’s presence with the Buccaneers, but also the fact that he wanted to improve his health after struggling with burnout during his time with the Patriots.

Another reason for his decision to play for Tampa Bay is that it would mean moving closer to where his mom lives, which is in Florida. His decision definitely paid off since Gronk managed to win one Super Bowl ring with the Buccaneers before officially retiring for good.
