Rob Gronkowski, former tight end for the New England Patriots, was lately asked if he would be interested in taking up a coaching job. On Monday, ‘Gronk’ appeared on TMZ Sports and discussed a number of topics, mainly about Mike Vrabel, the new head coach of the New England Patriots.
Gronkowski played most of his NFL career with the New England Patriots after the team selected him as the 42nd pick in the second round of the 2010 NFL draft. In his last two years with the league, Gronk played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Before the NFL, Gronkowski played college football for the Arizona Wildcats.
“I’m just not made for that coaching life, I’ve seen what they go through. It’s one of the most stressful jobs I would say in America,” Rob Gronkowski said when asked if he would ever consider a coaching job in the NFL.
While Rob Gronkowski definitely dismissed the thought of working in the NFL as a coach, he also went on to remark that he might consider the job once his children are all grown up. Gronkowski has twin sons with his wife Camille Kostek, who were born late last year.
Even before joining the New England Patriots as their head coach, Mike Vrabel already had strong ties to the team, especially since he played for them from 2001 to 2008. This is Vrabel’s second job as head coach. Previously, he was the head coach for the Tennessee Titans from 2018 to 2023.

Rob Gronkowski Credits Bill Belichick For Life-Changing Advice
On another note, Rob Gronkowski made another appearance on ‘Dudes on Dudes’ a couple of days back, sharing how his lifestyle has changed as he grew older. Gronkowski, at the peak of his NFL career, was always known as a party animal. The former tight end was known to stay up all night and party with strangers until the break of dawn.

However, Bill Belichick, the former general manager of the New England Patriots gave one piece of advice to Gronkowski, which stuck with him for years together. Belichick apparently said, “Nothing good happens after 12 o’clock at night.”

While Gronk did not take these words too seriously when Belichick said those to him, the simple piece of advice stuck with him. Eventually, years later, Gronkowski swapped his night-time partying for more wholesome daytime experiences. The party animal is still there in Gronkowski, except it’s only there in a more reformed form.
