Rashee Rice, wide receiver of the Kansas City Chiefs, was recently spotted training with his teammates at the OTAs. Reporters were definitely surprised to see Rice in training especially since the player has numerous legal issues surrounding him.

Rice is currently facing a lawsuit from Kayla Quinn and her son after he crashed his car into them on March 30th in Dallas. It was not only Rice who was involved in the crash, but also Theodore Knox, who plays college football for the SMU Mustangs. Quinn is suing the wide receiver for a maximum payout of $1,000,000, claiming that the crash caused both physical and mental damages to her and her son.

The wide receiver was apparently driving his car at a speed of 119 mph just before he collided with Theodore Knox, who was driving at 116 mph. The friends were apparently involved in a crazy race on a public speedway and injured at least four people,e including Quinn and her son.

Rashee Rice seems to have put the legal issues behind him and is in full-gear training for the Kansas City Chiefs. Rice has been playing for the Chiefs since 2023 after being selected as the 55th pick in the second round of the NFL draft. Before entering the league, the wide receiver played college football for the SMU Mustangs.

In the previous NFL season, Rice managed a total of 24 receptions for the Kansas City Chiefs for 288 yards, scoring two touchdowns for the team before injuring his knee. With the team, the wide receiver has won one Super Bowl in the 2023 NFL season.

Rashee Rice Has Almost Fully Recovered From His Knee Injury

Rashee Rice was unable to play properly in the previous NFL season after his knee injury in Week 4. However, it seems like Rice has completely recovered from the injury and is fit to play. A few days back, Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, admitted to reporters that Rice is ready to play for the team in the upcoming football season.

Mahomes also mentioned that Rice looks pretty “explosive and fast” in his training activities with the team. In his rookie season with the Kansas City Chiefs, Rashee Rice managed a total of 79 receptions for 938 yards, scoring seven touchdowns. Despite the legal troubles surrounding him, the wide receiver is predicted to do better for the team in the upcoming football season.
