Former president Donald Trump, who is just a month away from the presidential election, made an appearance on the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast, hosted by former Nebraska Cornhuskers linebacker Will Compton and former Michigan Wolverines tackle Taylor Lewan.
Lewan and Compton, who both had nine-year-long NFL careers, talked about all things football with Trump. That’s when Trump’s history as an athlete and football player came up, prompting Trump to explain why he stopped playing football.
Donald Trump is being called racist for his comments about football players
When Trump, who used to play tight end, was asked why he stopped playing football, his response prompted backlash from the political world.
Trump explained that he didn’t like going against guys who “lifted weights all day long and came from a bad neighborhood.”

Fans took to social media to voice their displeasure based on what they perceived as a racist comment. Some are saying it’s just old-fashioned racism while others are claiming statements like this are “racist dog whistles” that show hate groups he supports them.
You have to an idiot to not know what he’s talking about….his racist dog whistle is now a full blown bullhorn

The doughy rich white kid didn’t like being touched by poor muscular black kids.
That is if any of this actually ever took place. Playing football that is. Him not liking black people touching him is legit for sure

Because he thinks they are filthy and dirty, and he could not stand even having them touch him.

“Bussin With The Boys” is owned by Barstool Sports. Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy is a vocal Trump supporter. Lewan and Compton credited UFC magnate Dana White, another vocal Trump supporter, as their mutual connection.
