The Cleveland Browns have many decisions to make this offseason, and the biggest one is what to do with running back Nick Chubb.
Chubb has been with the Browns since 2018 and has been one of the best running backs in franchise history. Last season, Chubb broke his foot, and the year prior, he tore his knee up, ending his season in Week 2.
Nick Chubb Could Leave The Cleveland Browns

Now that Chubb is a free agent, there is a chance he won’t return to Cleveland, and Cameron Sheath from Pro Football Network thinks the 29-year-old running back could end up with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“With Najee Harris set to hit free agency after four straight 1,000-yard rushing seasons, the AFC North contenders need a new starter,” Sheath wrote. “That’s unlikely to be Chubb, with the Pittsburgh Steelers expected to draft a running back in April. However, his power-running style and familiarity with the AFC North could make Chubb an intriguing option. In a physical division, he could help replace the bruising style Harris brought to Pittsburgh. The Steelers are a team to watch when it comes to Chubb. Offensive coordinator Arthur Smith has a history of using a three-back rotation, which could allow Chubb to focus on short-yardage situations while younger backs handle the explosive plays.”
It would be awful for Browns fans to watch one of their favorite players leave and join their biggest rival. But the NFL is a business, and the Steelers would be a great fit.
