The Philadelphia Eagles lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl two seasons ago and they were hoping to avenge that loss in Super Bowl LIX in the rematch. Philadelphia dominated the game from start to finish against Kansas City and won by a final score of 30-22.

Hurts was the Super Bowl LIX MVP. Hurts completed 17-of-22 passes for 221 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Hurts also rushed for 72 yards on 11 carries and one touchdown. He also played great in the other Super Bowl against the Chiefs as well.
Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Jalen Hurts Gets Emotional After Win Against the Kansas City Chiefs

After the game, Hurts spoke to FOX reporter Erin Andrews about his first career Super Bowl title. Jalen Hurts said:
“God is good. He’s greater than all the highs and lows.”
He is happy that he got his first ring of his career. Will the Eagles star quarterback win another ring before his career is over? It remains to be seen what happens. Hurts had a one-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter.
He also threw a 12-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter to A.J. Brown and a 46-yard touchdown pass to Devonta Smith in the third quarter. The Eagles’ biggest lead in the game against the Kansas City Chiefs was 34-0 and Saquon Barkley didn’t do much damage.

Why is the super bowl played on the Sabbath being the Lord’s Day rather than another day of the week?

Don’t like the Eagles but hard to not love Jalen Hurts

There were questions about Jalen Hurts entering the 2024 season. Also, he had a concussion late in the season against the Washington Commanders and had to miss a couple of games before the playoffs. Hurts now will get to be in Philadelphia Eagles history forever also.
