The Philadelphia Eagles were looking to avoid an upset on the road on Sunday night against the Los Angeles Rams. The Eagles had a superb performance from running back Saquon Barkley in a 37-20 win over the Rams.
He rushed for 255 yards on 26 carries and two touchdowns and also caught four passes for 47 yards receiving. Barkley is having a big season after leaving the New York Giants in free agency.
Philadelphia Eagles Running Back Saquon Barkley Is Having An MVP Caliber Season
When Barkley was with the Giants, he had injury issues and showed flashes of talent but nothing to the extent of how has been on the Eagles this season. Saquon Barkley has rushed for 1,392 yards on 223 carries and 10 touchdowns, along with averaging 6.2 yards per carry. He has also caught 27 passes for 257 yards receiving and two touchdowns, along with averaging 9.5 yards per reception.
He is first in rushing yards this season in the NFL and has a chance to win the rushing title. Not only can Saquon Barkley win the Offensive Player of the Year award, but he has a great chance to get some MVP votes as well this season. Barkley has been the Eagles’ gain this season and has been the Giants’ loss. Many fans are wondering how it even happened.

It is going to be interesting to see how Barkley does for the rest of the season. He is on pace to rush for over 2,000 yards this season. Saquon Barkley has been great all season long for the Eagles.
