Patrick Mahomes’ mother, Randi Martin, recently showed off the new house that the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback bought her. Mahomes gifted his mom a brand new mansion in Texas, which was priced at $825,000. Martin recently gave her followers a sneak peek of her house and even asked tips on how she can decorate her game room.
Randi Martin was married to Patrick Mahomes’ father, Pat Mahomes Sr. for a number of years before divorcing in 2006. The couple has two children, Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and Jackson Mahomes, who is a social media influencer.
“You guys, I’m super grateful and very excited and overwhelmed a little bit. Patrick got me this new house and welcome to my game room.” Randi Martin said in the video showing off her new home which Patrick Mahomes gifted to her.
Patrick Mahomes has been pretty close to his mother, Randi Martin, who is a retired event planner. Despite retiring from event planning, Randi Martin recently displayed that she is not out of horsepower. Randi announced sometime back that she is starting the Sports Parent Academy, an institute to help sports parents like herself. Martin not only uses her own experience for sports parents in the academy, but has also created programs with the help of other professionals, including a psychologist and a family therapist.
Patrick Mahomes To Miss Thanksgiving And Christmas Celebrations With Family Because Of Games
In other news, the NFL schedule, which was released a few days back revealed that Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs will be missing out on Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations with their families because of games. The Kansas City Chiefs will be meeting the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day and the Denver Broncos on Christmas Day.
Numerous NFL fans have criticized the league for using the fame of the Chiefs to sell more tickets on special holidays like Christmas. While the NFL can make more money through these games, it will also mean that the Chiefs miss out on important family time.
The schedule also confirms that the Kansas City Chiefs will be locking horns with the Los Angeles Chargers in the opening game of their season. Before the season can kick off, the Chiefs will be warming up their muscles by taking on the Chicago Bears for a preseason game. The Chiefs will be quite eager to win the Super Bowl this season after missing out in the previous season to the Philadelphia Eagles.
