A Pittsburgh Steelers offensive weapon is expected to miss multiplayer weeks after re-aggravating an injury during practice Thursday. The Steelers offense has not played well to start the season as the team has weathered poot offensive line play, poor play calling, and injuries to skilled positions.
Hamstrings have been the cause of frustration for the passing offense. Second-year quarterback Kenny Pickett has been without wide receiver Diontae Johnson and tight end Pat Freiermuth for multiple weeks due to hamstring injuries.
Johnson is expected to return for the Steelers offense against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7. The Steelers also hoped to have Freiermuth, but he might be out for several more weeks.
