Ohio State Fans Are Calling For An Investigation That One Of Their Players Threw The Game Against Michigan For Gambling Reasons

Ohio State fans are not handling their loss to Michigan well, and some think the game was lost because one Buckeye player had money on them to lose.

Sports betting has taken over the world, and two years ago, the state of Ohio allowed sports gambling, so whenever a player at Ohio State doesn’t put up his best performance in a loss, fans think he is throwing the game on purpose.

Ohio State Buckeyes fans get upset after linebacker Arvell Reese (20) was ejected for targeting hit on Nebraska Cornhuskers wide receiver Jahmal Banks (4) during the fourth quarter of their game at Ohio Stadium on Oct 26, 2024, in Columbus.

One fan took to Facebook to call for an investigation into Buckeyes kicker Jayden Fielding, who missed two easy chip shot field goals on Satruday.

The fan stated, “I’m asking for a complete investigation into Jayden Fielding’s call logs and text messages weeks up to the games. This missed chip shot is a foul, almost rehearsed. I’ve seen too much this season. I will not be silent anymore.”

Fielding missed some bad kicks, but there is no way he was doing it on purpose. Nothing ever makes sense when Ohio State and Michigan play each other, and Fielding felt all the pressure of the rivalry and was shocked at the big moment.

Ohio State fans have to stop making excuses every time they fall to Michigan and just realize their team was not prepared for a fourth straight season, and that goes back to their head coach, Ryan Day.

The Buckeyes still have everything in front of them this season; they still can win the national title. Losing to Michigan was something fans didn’t think would be possible this season, but clearly, anything is possible when Day is coaching.
